The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the departments under it held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony for officers and staff in conjunction with Ramadhan. The event organised by the Treasury Department took place at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, 3rd March afternoon.

The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The ceremony coincided with the presentation of donations. It is the Ministry's annual religious activity during Ramadhan.
